Sky Mountain's expressive arts program is an immensely satisfying
experience. It is a remarkably educational, expanding, uplifting,
healing, and profoundly useful training. Over the course of the program,
the uniqueness of each individual is honored, and the format provides for
exploration of the deeply personal. Many concrete tools and processes are
provided for personal or later professional use.
-Christina B., MFA
I cherish my experience of participating in this Expressive Arts Therapy
Training, and I feel inspired and enriched by it, both personally and
professionally. Each Module provided a lovely, creative and meaning-full
opportunity for individual and shared exploration of several different
art modalities and their synergistic play in the psyche.
-Sophia R., PhD, MFT
The instructors offered masterful and imaginative guidance in all
expressive modalities and their use in personal transformation and
clinical practice. Their generosity of heart and spirit fostered an
experience of community, deeply felt by all participants, and a trusting,
creative environment.
-David T., Teacher
Careful attention to the aesthetic quality of spaces for creative work
and delicious shared meals, a wealth of imaginative art materials, and
the beauty of the land around – all contributed to making the experience
of being here a pure joy.
-Olivia W., Artist
I now feel competent using art, clay, sandtray and psychodrama in my
practice. The instructors provide in-depth information on assessment and
treatment and teach “hands-on” tools that can be used experientially. I
left the training feeling I had gained access to new professional
enthusiasm and energy.
-Susan L., MFT
One of the most professionally enriching and personally powerful programs
I have ever attended.
