Allowing
Chris Britain, May 13, 2006

There is movement in me
Inherent to my position here
As I sit and wait

I have companions with me
Loyal I can feel
From all realities they remind me that I am not alone
And in fact
That what I am about
May not even be coming from me, exactly.

I am doing my best
To clear this channel, this field, this opening
So that the Vast What Is can be what it is
Without name
Without limitation of label
Without the judgment, worry, separation that comes with each one,

I seek to be
To allow
This opening in the Field
For light
And familiar strangeness
To pour through

So I listen to the wind
Whispering in my hair
Silken threads of inclination
And I make my small movements of allowing.
